About ten years ago now, on radio 4's Money programme, the experts were saying Northern Rock was The place to bank, for the best interest returns on ye investment. higgins 75 Posted September 16, 2007 Report Share Posted September 16, 2007 they have substantial assets apparently,it's no wonder they have got a loan from the BOE,but i've noticed in the news today that a significant amount of depositors have withdrawn their money to the tune of approx 2billion,if this continues they will be f*****d as all confidence in banking with them will be lost,talk about rats leaving a sinking ship......
