Saluki246 1,053
Was talking to a friend this morning who was out lamping last night. He did not see any rabbits and this place is usually crawling with them.! He spoke to the farmer after and the farmer said that their was some disease that is wiping them out quick called VHD.! I did a search just now on the net and found this below, looks like he is telling the truth!! Anyone else notice a decline in rabbits in their area? I know that their not as plenty full as they use to be?? http://www.herald.ie/news/alert-over-deadly-bug-attacking-rabbits-29725019.html 1 Quote Link to post

tommy.c 859
myself and big,e of here was speaking to a farmer on one of our permissions and he was telling us about this, it has not hit his land and hope it doesnt as the place is over run with rabbits, we were actually nearly driving over them just going up the lane to the farm, we will be paying him a visit around xmas to drop him in his bottle whiskey, and have a check on the rabbits to see if they have declined any!
