The Eye At Night!

Recommended Posts

I love the fact that you went somewhere different to conventional thought and got this rifle! I know you have many of the tried and tested Gaystates, HWs, BSAs, etc. but this is utterly different, certainly could be perceived as a risky investment and working for you, I love it!

Never would own one myself, having never been a bullpup fan, but it's great to see something different.

It was bought primarily for use in woodland (the trees on the woodland I have permission on are very nervous and huddle together, a normal length rifle is difficult to get through, the 4x4 (she who must be obeyed has said that when it is really cold we will go down the first paddocks in the 4x4, shoot from the warmth of the car), use in my pop up hide (whenever I eventually take it out), but I discovered for limboing under electric fences it is ideal too! Ideal for rabbiting work, pbz is from 14 to 31 metres (despite the high scope mounting), got it set up so I have 5 metre steps on the SR12.

The trigger is slightly wooden in feel, common to quite a few bullpups and is down to the connecting rod mechanism. But it has a distinct 2 stage trigger without creep. The internals were refined by Simon Atkins and it is claimed to get 120+ shots per fill in the .177 (200 bar max fill), Mine came with 2 magazines, which might be the weak point on the gun, the magazine housing and indexing system are plastic, just have to see how they last!

With Ogive 4.52mm pellets it cloverleafed at 30 metres on the second magazine when I set it up!
