What Modorator/siolencer For My Cz527 222 ??? Dave Mercer Any Good???

looking for a mod for my cz 527 222, been offered a dave mercer mod,(are these any good/0 also what mod do you recomend??? thanks lk

A moderator is a personal choice. I have wild cat moderators as they are all interchangeable with there part except the calibre specific insert. They are handy if you have more than one gun. They are totally strippable to clean.

You also preferably what one made from aluminium and stainless steel as it won't rust and should last a lifetime if well cleaned.

 

There are a few mods which are multi cal so if you wis to obtain more rifles or already do so you could spend a little extra for a multi cal moderator.

As already said, moderators get personal and most will recommend what they own, the P8 COMPACT does the job for me, and on a .222 I would strongly suggest the COMPACT version .

 

This has been up many times, my .223, .243 and .308, All P8 Compact!

Dm are good moderators a pal of mine has one on his .223 and it is good, my own choice would be for the 8" mae/pes small centerfire muzzle can, superb moderators, all stainless contruction, will last a lifetime, and very effective.

Got a lovely A-tec on my 243, nice and light and comes apart for cleaning or replacing of individual parts

I have a couple of wildcats for my .223 and 6.5 and they are very good easy to strip and clean as said. I have also heard good reports on the Dave Mercer mods.
