RossM 8,149
Not long in with dogs and whilst cleaning them up I noticed one had a puncture just to the skin between a front outside toe and the foot pad, by saying just to the skin it looks like if you can imagine stretching out a balloon and putting a hole in it, cleaned it out with hibiscrub but can still see some dirt in it when I move the puncture wound around but I just can't get it all out, it's different from any other wound I've experienced so far, any ideas how to clean it right out? Accip74 7,112
Peroxide may help, as it bubbles up it may bring the crap out with it, used to use it to clean out puncture wounds on terriers

beast 1,884
peroxide might work but not too strong! otherwise diluted iodine couple of times a day and quick wipe with cotton bud or similar
