Why would they be aggressive? A properly socialised dog is just that regardless of breed. I've kept Staffords for nearly 20yrs and only 1 was dog aggressive I got him at a year old and was bred that

This is my pup .making herself at home

Mine is a rescue coming up to 11 years old now. I wish I could of had him from a pup and got him stock broken to work him proper. He's enjoying a good retirement now instead!

American bulldog mate, only got him as his other owner had him purely as a guard dog and didn't need him so he was going to be PTS! but I've spent a bit of time getting him in shape turns out his prey drive was spot on and is great in the field had a few rabbits in cover amongst other things. ;)

Cheers mate. He wasn't my first choice, I had the money saved for a mike brown whippet. I saw him advertised as free from a rescue because he was 9 years old. f**k knows why we went to see him, something about him. I couldn't stand the thought of some chivvy div using him to pose with because of his looks so my conscience got the better of me and we bunged the rescue £100. He had zero training and I truly regretted it for about 4 months. It was like taking a wild street dog into your home. He's my first dog and I've never seed anything so stubborn. I changed my approach and bought a prong collar and that changed him for the better, I even used it to teach him recall. Hes now a joy to own and I've realised that terriers suit my personality better as I can be a bit of a hot head and I would absolutely have another staff of this type from a pup.
