Expensive?

Got a new truck and wanted a B.A.S.C. sticker for it. Went on the B.A.S.C site, clicked on B.A.S.C shop, this directed me to a Fur Feather and Fin site. Clicked on the sticker i wanted, priced at .99p, and then noticed they wanted £2.99p for P+P. Is it me or does anyone else think £2.99p for P+P, which will take 6-7-days for delivery, for a 99p car sticker is taking the piss?.

Yes it is when they could chuck it in an envelope for 50p, but they will have a deal with a courier at a flat or stepped rate with 2.99 being cheapest or only rate you pay so when you order a scope or bulkier item prob still only costs 2.99 (as which point you won't be complaining it's too cheap compared to Royal Mail

All the vehicles i have, and have had, have had B.A.S.C stickers in them. I have never had any negative attention from anyone. I have been asked a couple of times what B.A.S.C is by people that had seen the stickers, but it's been positive reactions when explained exactly what B.A.S.C do. Plus it shows support for a good organisation. I can't say i have ever heard of anyone getting any unwanted attention because of a sticker. Is there anyone that has had unwanted attention?.

Ha ha. They should be thanking the BASC and polishing it with their wings after the abolition of the proposed National Pigeon and Pest Control Day some years back.

 

I was just about to renew my BASC membership when the storm blew up and haven't joined again since.

I was just about to renew my BASC membership when the storm blew up and haven't joined again since.

 

I had a real problem with them, after the lead ban for wildfolwing I really dont think they stand up for us strong enough,
