rabbitcatcher 1 287 Posted September 18, 2013 Report Share Posted September 18, 2013 Well I thaught I'd get out and try a couple of this years kits this morning and to my surprise the other half wanted to come along, so I thaught I'd just stay on a few small burrows to try the kits (and the missus) Netted up the first bury of about 7 holes close together as Ann said she seen thumper drop in( I didn't see it mind) but netted up and dropped my albino Jill kit in After 5 mins I got the locator out and found her 2-3 foot in 1 spot so I waited a couple more mins then out came the spade but before I started digging I checked again with the mark 3 and she had moved, so I tell Ann get ready she's moved it and bam a good size rabbits hits my hand made purse net getting perfectly balled up with the young Jill hot on its heals, as I was chiming the rabbit the Jill disappeared back down, long stor short she bolted another 2 from this bury then she lost interest so I lifted her and boxed her, there was another small bury just up from where we were so we netted that about 5 holes and slipped in the polecat Jill,within a minute rabbit number 4 in the net but didn't seem to owt left in so we packed up happy with the kits and headed home Sorry bowt the rubbish write up, here's a pic or 2 Atb rc1 4 Quote Link to post
