No I havent, but thats not to say I would not, just could not afford it. Before the beans are roasted they are sterelised so no shitty taste in your mouth

Same here I would also,,, read up about it a few year ago,, after seeing those cat type things kept in captivity for harvesting the beans,,, but as you say it's to expensive ,, I think I'm drinking posh coffe when I buy dowe eggberts gold blend instant,,,lol

camp coffee made with sterilised milk my man thought that was posh in the 50s and my granma swore blind the queen drank it as well , put me off all coffee for life.

Same here I would also,,, read up about it a few year ago,, after seeing those cat type things kept in captivity for harvesting the beans,,, but as you say it's to expensive ,, I think I'm drinking posh coffe when I buy dowe eggberts gold blend instant,,,lol

Dowe Eggberts is lovely coffee but I prefer Kenco instant, 2 sugars 11/2 coffee and no milk.

 

When you think about the civet coffee it's no worse than eating sausage that have natural intestings as skins those are just flushed out with water.

That's right mate,,, and for 3 days I worked in a abattoir ,, that pure butchered pigs,, my job was pulling the runners of the intestine,, as you pulled it off you thread one end of the large intestine wich is the long thin one,,,through a mangle type device ,,, this then pushed all the shit along and out of the intestine,,, when all that shit was out,, the intestine went somewhere else to be cleaned and prossed properly,,,,

 

Fecking horrible job,, hence me lasting just 3 days,,, every now and then the intestine would twist,, the shit would build until the intestine popped like a ballon,,, and cos the mangle was about 3 foot behind you,,, it burst shit all over your back,,, inevitably some would hit your neck,, and slide its way down your back.... Yep a truly gruesome job,,, I'm far to delicate for all that...lol

Two of my brothers-in-law were slaughter men. they worked upstair in the killing and skinning room at the abbatior, all the intestines would be thrown down a chute in the middle of the floor. Down stairs they got spread out on a tray and the intestines were sorted, Gwyn the chap whos job it was to sort them would charge you £1.50 for a whole tripe 20p for a sheeps head 50p for a second stomach. He would be spattered inshit and blood from head to toe from empting the intestines by hand, sorting the hides and sheep skins. He had a barrow at the end of the tray and all the shit went into the barrow then tipped into the methene gas plant. I could not have done that job for the life of me.
