lamping tools

before you got a lightforce or lazerlite, what was your favourite tool,

mine was a lamp stolen off the local fire brigrade truck :icon_redface: moggy thousand had god beams, then we had the batterys in the five gallon drums that leaked acid over our clothes , :haha:

Funny that I used a set up like that to :clapper: My 15 year old brother now uses it with his mates :D Im going to buy him a lightforce :thumbs:

coleman 400.000 cp....dont rate the new type lamps, lazerlite has a shit beam(nice size lamp tho)....lightforce burn-out..

 

Likewise, but mine was a 800.000 :thumbs:

Great lamps, cant find one now though, rare as rocking horse shit. :D

i use the light force these days ive had no problems with them really apart from a bit of wiring.

but looking back to when i started out id just got my first lurcher a saluki whippet greyhound,

i couldnt wait to get out with that bitch..my first night out with my own dog.

heres a lamp that came my way at the time,the one on the left it had no handle on it, i couldnt wait to shop for a lamp so i took the handle off a sauce pan :icon_redface: . it served me well for a couple of years then the other came along and i used it for spares i think it had a decent beam on it had some good nights using it :D

we had lucas, "found" on the front of an old car! :clapper: it accidentally fell off in my hand....honest :clapper:

 

 

optonics blue eye 110,000 cp...... Oh yes, i thought i was "The Daddy" with that piece of kit..... :D the blue eye was "to cut through mist"....lol... but who goes lamping in the mist???... :D that coupled with the old 18 amp/hour battery...jesus, make no wonder my growth has been stunted running around the countryside carrying that behemoth of a battery.... :clapper: should have been 6 inches taller really.... :cry: good hunting JD

started off with a big night blaster setup but went to clulite... :) i still use the gallon jar and a motorcycle battery but instead of having it filled it with acid i fill it with distilled water... havent had a hole in my clothes for years :thumbs:

Oh yes JD, them 'mist cutter blues'.....Remember 'em well, along with the 'clear eye' and 'black eye', feckin solid 'ol things, just one huge bulb with a handle, seemed to last forever, they done a smaller model too, name escapes me now, handy little thing for bunnies. :)
