Was it to proof that there not a one trick pony just for the coursing field.. My other half had an old APBT that had passed away a while ago and after being without a dog around for a while she thought she would have another,well I said "get a Lurcher" lol,having had a search around I seen the litter Black Recking It had,obviously I had heard of the exploits of the Razor dog and on contacting BRI I got the rundown on the dam of the pups Abi..so our lass chose the cream pup Fife,I payed for it and that was that..when I went to collect Fife I only expected to come home with him but Stevie gifted me the black & tan pup Boots so I ended up with two lol...I ain't out to prove anything buddy and im pretty certain that these will be more than one trick ponies or I hope so haha,my collie cur Don will still be my main rabbiting dog,Swift will be keeping the freezer full hopefully as she has always done...honestly that Swift don't get the recognition she deserves off me lol,she is top drawer..she has pulled the UK's biggest beastie,helped in fox control,good lamper and retrieved plenty of big fast rabbits in the day...my other half Jill came home last night off the drink and let the pups upstairs and into bed lol,the b*****ds kicked me out,I've been on the sofa while them b*****ds have been in bed...I'm enjoying getting out and about with the pups,Saluki,Collie & Coursing type x Lurcher I have em all and whichever I take to graft and at whatever sphere I honestly don't care if I catch nowt these days..I enjoy the craic with Tomo,Vin and others when we are out,have a laugh at each others mishaps and try not to take it to serious..to be honest I have put my heart & soul into this owld hunting game for a good few years and I DID take it too fooking serious lol..whatever dog you run just enjoy getting out and what will be will be at the end of the day,after all we are a fooking long time dead!!! 8 Quote Link to post
