I concede if I was punching paper targets it's not as accurate as my mates anchutz, but I'm not I'm shooting vermin and it makes a very good job of it.

P.S last time I checked 5 million of these rifles have been sold maybe they have got something right :hmm:

Now i was reading some old posts on here a few days ago and i saw a thread that had a guy called Duncan and he says that shooting rabbits at that sort of range is impossible with a 22 or words to that effect. so is he wrong ???? you should have read all of my last post lol.

And I am the mate with the Anchutz, and I can confirm that his 1022 is a very accurate rifle and have seen him head shoot bunnies lots @ 90 yards and more, ok he has played with the trigger, fitted a different stock and done a couple of other mods, but the rifle rarely jams, even with subs, no definitely not a pile of crap.

Ahh the mark of a dullard, resorting to abuse,oh dear oh dear, I will not resort to such base tactics, as you obviously lack the intellect to debate a subject in a civil manner, are we still smarting because I made you look a bit silly on the moderator issue, ahhhh :cray:

No disrespect to Duncan (he seems decent chap) but why because he says shooting a rabbit at 90yards with .22 is impossible does that make it so? I'm telling you I have done and do it regularly. If I post on here that a .243 is a bit too light a round to be shooting foxes would you quote this as a reference?

If you have had a poor experience one then that's unfortunate and you are entitled to your opinion, if you haven't owned one then why comment? But to slate one of the worlds most popular rim fires and claim it couldn't hit a barn door is just ignorance.
