stubby 175
the ruger is not a serious tool they are a toy for those that like to do the rimfire magic thing and look like Rambo!!!. sorry Rambo!! sadly I look nothing like rambo, and have not done the rimfire magic route either but I do know that as a work tool, it gets taken out as much as, if not more than my bolt action right tool for the right job you'll notice a bad workman always blames his tools 3 Quote Link to post
rimmer 33
their crap !! couldnt hit a barn door, well known for being s**t and for spitting bullets all over the place, be better off going out with a catapult !! Ha ha ha are you for real? I head shoot rabbits regularly up to 90 yards longest being 127yards with my 10/22. I can assure you I'm no Rambo nor do I have any want to be. I concede if I was punching paper targets it's not as accurate as my mates anchutz, but I'm not I'm shooting vermin and it makes a very good job of it. P.S last time I checked 5 million of these rifles have been sold maybe they have got something right 2 Quote Link to post

No disrespect to Duncan (he seems decent chap) but why because he says shooting a rabbit at 90yards with .22 is impossible does that make it so? I'm telling you I have done and do it regularly. If I post on here that a .243 is a bit too light a round to be shooting foxes would you quote this as a reference? If you have had a poor experience one then that's unfortunate and you are entitled to your opinion, if you haven't owned one then why comment? But to slate one of the worlds most popular rim fires and claim it couldn't hit a barn door is just ignorance. ATB 1 Quote Link to post
