Signal Crayfish

There was a map showing river and canals that have signal crayfish in them, but i cant find it

 

Did it take long for you to get a license....? and was it a pain

It did take a while for them to post out the application and get it approved but as long as you show you have a good knowledge of how to trap them, and be able to tell the difference between the different types it is pretty much yours.

maybe it differs in your neck of the woods then, as filling out the form, you do not need to show knowledge of trapping, and as for identifying different types, if theres british crayfish in the water, you wont get a ticket, simple as that,

 

the tags though are numbered for a stretch or river/stream/pond designated by yourself at time of application, therefore if as you say, you have a license, why ask if crays are there????

I don't understand what you are trying to say, I asked for advice on Squirrel culling as I have never trapped squirrels before only every shooting them?

good post that mate, cheers. Ill apply when i have an hour spare it looks a bit involved lol. get the old ordnance survey out to get the co ordinates etc.
