Get yourself some farm work.

Get yourself round chapping doors and you might be surprised at this time of year.

If you can drive all the better.

I've been looking for farming/estate worker jobs but can't seem to find any that will take me on, i can drive but no car. Might take a walk tomorrow, not many farms round here though.

Even if you have to bluff your way onto a job go for it :icon_eek:

Tractor driving isn't rocket science, harvest work like carting grain and silage is piss easy and long hours = $$

:victory:

Cheers FTB  got tractor driving experience with a trailer anyway

 i'm 22, if my banter isn't anywhere near decent by now then i doubt it'll get any better :D

Work wise, whatever....driving, gardening, customer service, bar work, call centre (shudder) production line....trying to angle more into 'keeping though, that's my main passion and i'll do whatever it takes to get taken on.

Like i said in another thread if i get put up, fed and the dogs are fed and have a kennel then i'll be more than happy to work for nothing rearing or beating/picking up/helping through the season just for the extra experience, additional contacts and to put on my CV  you never know who might have a vacancy! As it stands i'm sat at home walking my dogs 4/5 times a day (which isn't a bad thing!!) but you can't exactly stick that on your CV!!! I'm kind of stagnating and it needs sorting before i wake up in 5 or 10 years time and haven't achieved anything with my life

22 is f**k all mate lol but if im honest id look elsewhere than keeping.......not saying rule it out but its a job with very little opportunities when you look at it realistically...........i did a year at rodbaston college few years back............out of the whole class only one is a full time keeper and he is one of my best mates............works all the hours god sends for about £250 a week........f**k that, get a proper trade and you will earn that a day!!! but then again i guess it depends what type of person you are.........i no if i had access to 6,000 acres with sheds and heaters, id be making more money than most by growing plants that sell well........... :whistling::D

if your happy going out at 4am to feed birds in the freezing cold rain, finishing at 11pm, 7 days a week for £250.........crack on..........:thumbs:

22 yrs old !!! ffs mate the worlds your lobster , the only advise I,d offer is don,t settle for a dead end soul destroying job , keep an eye on the future , further education , a trade , a job with prospects that teaches you skills ,some thing you you have an interest in and like , strive to be happy
