I've always used 17 grain. No need to go heavier, the rifle packs so much punch for a rimfire. The trigger kit is just a couple of new springs. Don't set it too light to avoid accidental firing.

How do you clean a rim fire, are there any kits i can buy....Im a clean freak so i like looking after things.

If you are talking about a .22lr dedicated sub sonic tool, then it quite straightforward and not required on a daily basis.

 

HMR and WMR (did anyone ever buy a 17HM2) is more akin to centrefire cleaning.

 

Yes, there are lots of kits or separates and solvents etc., available.

took her out yesterday, I zero'd her properly i.e. nero and far zero with adjustments.

 

Then had a wonder through the forest where my permission is....i shot loads of squirrel and a few rabbits. I still cant get over how much damage they do to a rabbit its mental.
