bullx100% 681 Posted June 11, 2013 Report Share Posted June 11, 2013 just looking for some advice on madras asil (the taller of the breed)off people who own or have owned them as im hoping to get some in the coming future im looking on advice for the size of coop and run area needed for a trio or possibly more and what the hens temperament are like when entering new hen i have a area of 10 ft by 6 ft and and 9 ft high and would be able to fit a coop on the outside of the area and was wondering on how many birds this area would be suitable for the birds would not be in this area 24/7 as on days when im not busy they could be let out (under supervision due to cats and other predators) cheers bx1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

If you just want Aseels for just keeping Aseels as Pets, I am sure there will be plenty about selling the type of Hens where you can keep a trio in a Pen that size. All my pairs Pens sizes are 12ftx12ftx6ft and a Hen with Chicks, on her own with them, in an 8ftx4ftx4ft Pen, until they are 'hard penned'.
