zini 1,939 Posted June 3, 2013 Report Share Posted June 3, 2013 (edited) Hi lads, Me and Phil (Mawders) went up to our local shooting club today (Glevum) to do some calibration work with Phils AA Pro Sport springer and my HW100KT and BSA Ultra SE PCP’s and HW98 springer. After chronoing all our rifles we then zeroed at 25 meters before doing a BC calibration shoot. After that we shot some 46m and 50 meter targets and groups. Here are some of the photos we took. Look at the group Phil shot when zeroing his Pro Sport at 25 meters from AA Fields to RWS Super Fields. The top pellet is his aim point before he adjusted his zero and the other hole below is 3 RWS pellets. We also made a clip that will be placed on VHTV later tomorrow as a episode. Well done Phil some cracking shooting yet again by you mate. You and that Pro Sport are a real accurate team. I bet your so glad now that you tried the RWS Super Field pellets pal? Si. Mawders 595 Posted June 4, 2013 Report Share Posted June 4, 2013 Brilliant night down the range Si, That 98 is something special and you also shoot it with blistering accuracy! I'm completely in amazement at the 3 shot group I shot with the superfields! I'm just glad others were there to witness it, I'm sure there are those out there that think it can't be done with a pcp let alone a boing stick! Top shooting again buddy, its gonna have to be a real man test next time and try empty rim fire cartridges at 50 meters! ;-) Phil 1 Quote Link to post

Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701 Posted June 4, 2013 Report Share Posted June 4, 2013 heres best I can do with my .177 hw97kt after just fitting a vamch kit. hope it settles down tho - over chrono it was very inconsistent 34 yds jsb exact, slight breeze R-L - top right shot was 'marker shot'/POA 6 shots total 28 yds daystate Li .slight breeze R-L, almost dark could only just see target! - top right shot was markers shot/POA 6 shots total watching Si shoot gets me sooo jealous!! lol got to take my hat off to him and mawders didn't do too bad either :laugh: Quote Link to post

Just remember the vermin doesn't care if its pellet on pellet, as long as you hit the vitals! Si's a perfectionist and nothing short of a one hole group will do! He can do it and works damn hard at it all the time! Getting to know him has shown me what a professional he is, we manage to have a laugh but he is a machine! It would take a lifetime of solid practice to pull off what he can do time and time again! Yeah it may seem to some that this is a cock rub but unless you met him and watched him you wouldn't understand how much he lives for air rifles and pushing them to the limits! He's a cracking contributor to this site and ambassador to the sport. Just remember though Skott your group will do the same thing to vermin as his group!
