Guest joe ox
Many years ago a mate had two albino badgers stuffed that he dug, sold them after the ban on digging badgers for a good sum. Again, many years ago (bout 22), whilst lamping foxs on the Wirral, we called in a white (albino?) fox. Couldn't belive our eyes but this critter was definatley a fox and white as snow. Got a run on it too but we had seen its eyes whilst we were moving to a better position, dropped in a ditch and called, it came in but it was a real small field so the slip was poor (and so were the dogs! ). Gotta admit, it was some sight to behold as youngsters, the excitement of realising what it was and it edging in toward us was almost unbearable!! After this it was seen by other dog lads in the area but to my knowlage no-one ever caught it. bosun11 I still get like that with ordinary red foxs now :11: Quote Link to post

alec_brickie 1
i've got two albino rabbits, the local roundabout seems to have a abundance off them i think we counted 5 well now down to three, red eyes and all. there the only animal i've seen round here. There probably escaped tame rabbits or people have let them go and they have bred. My local round about has 2 or 3 black ones on it. Ive heard of albino badgers but never seen one. Suposedly a famous terrier man has a albino badger stuffed which was dug pre digging ban. joe if we are thinking of the same terrier man then he has got one stuffed on he wall from many years ago. Ive been to his house to buy a terrier years ago with my mate who assures me ive seen it hanging on the wall but I carnt remember  was he from down south or up north mate Quote Link to post
