paulus 26
They dont give a fook. Make it a requirement that Politicians Sons have to do a tour with the TA in a warzone. Lets see how brave they are. Cameron said the veterans would be ring fenced from these cuts, well it seems he was talking shite as usual
walshie 2,804
And then you read about the terminally workshy who haven't worked for 10 years because they have "a bad back", but are still spotted playing golf and so on. The more you do for this country, the less they appreciate you.

Lab 10,979
Boils my piss all these benefit tests. Simple thing should be to bin them and go on medical records. As soon as a doctor says your unfit to work that should be enough. These tests are nothing short of a joke..."Can you pick up that empty box and put it on that table"........."Yes!!"........"Well your fit and able!!"............"And where is this £500 pound a week job where i lift a box and put it on a table?"....................Idiots!!!!

But even the "tests" don't seem equal. If some scrounger goes and says "Oooh I've got a twinge in my back." he's set for as long off work as he fancies. But someone with a limb missing - that he lost fighting for his country - is treated like this. It's f*cking appalling.

That is very true, In reality the chances of someone with a genuine disability being employed when there probably dozens and dozens of able bodied people trying for the same job is nearly zero, Doctors are the people who treat and understand peoples conditions. Even the professor who designed this test has said its flawed when used in the way ATOS are using it. Changing the names and tweaking the qualifying parameters of these benefits is just a reduction in monetary expenditure with attached spin
C Hall 552
Does not surprise me, all politicians are all two faced liar's The way our injured service men and women are treated is nothing more than shocking.

Mate my Mum is so fecking pissed off with the benefits system she no longer asks for anything because she gets turned down at every corner and made to feel like she is some kind of chancer. She can hardly walk 100 yards without coughing her f***ing lungs up. Her neighbour has told her to file for a disability car..she says "No, too much hassle!"......Theres no way i can do it for her cause if they told me 'no' there would be hell to pay. I know folk with disabled cars, parking spaces outside there houses and they dont f***ing wok and theres f**k all wrong with them.....

Changing the names and tweaking the qualifying parameters of these benefits is just a reduction in monetary expenditure with attached spin I remember watching the documentary they done a while ago on it....why i watched it i'll never know cause i knew it was going to enrage me. There was a guy on it who was asked to take repeated test and was told he was fit and able to work while waiting on a op on his heart. He dropped dead in the garden one day........ Astral 253
Unfortunately in the area I work I come into contact with a few injured soldiers...most of which are also homeless.... It really makes me sad. The army is not what it used to be, those boys are no longer serving great Britain, they are serving who ever has enough money to point on a map and make them go there, whether its got anything to do with the protection of our shores or not. They are seriously treated like shit, not longer fit and able? then Fk off and crawl into a cardboard box at the back of Argos. I don't see this getting better until the Army turns round and begins to tell the Gov where to shove their orders till all the army is cared for.

I've not control over the testing but I work within a disability services and these people doing the testing have NO IDEA about some conditions or how they work. For example MS can have good days and bad days. One day you might not be able to even get to the toilet 3 foot away as you're shaking so bad your limbs are useless, while the next day you can make it a mile. So what happens if your test day just happens to have been the only good day you get for a year? Your considered fit for work!!

As lab says what about people who suffer heart problems, etc. etc. the test is skewed deliberately in an attempt to save money, I'm well aware that some people are unscrupulously claiming . But there own GP`s are the ones who are in a position to make that call. Why some Spanish company is employed by our government to make decisions that have so much effect on peoples lives is beyond my comprehension. A great big waste of money in itself. scothunter 12,609
I know a few lads the same lab.neither work nor want.drag thier maws or thier sisters along to thoise panels to lay it on even thicker.saying there not right in the head and they cant leave the house.utter pish! when i broke my knee i was on it for 4month,went to a panel in stirling a load of old duffers asking me to bend down, and if i could walk up the stairs and lift a kettle.ok ur fine you can go back to work lol thank f**k i get back to work end of next month, quite proud that i didnt have to go to those c**ts and ask for any money these past few month.the whole f***ing system and those that work in it,just irritate me,the way they kick actual people in need of benefits and then allow these young laddies to continue to stay on it beggars belief.
