zini 1,939
Tonight me and Phil (Mawders) met at our air gun club at around 1805 hrs ready for 3 hours of springer shooting and pellet testing. Phil was using his Timmy Tree fettled AA Pro Sport in .177, and i was using my SFS S2 tuned HW97KT also in .177. After the both of us had tried a variety of .177 pellet brands we both settled on AA Fields at 4.52 mm . With both rifles zeroed at 27 yards (25 meters) we set about shooting some groups . We was originally going to shoot 5 shot groups but the rifles were so accurate with the AA Field pellets that 5 shot groups were silly small and less than 1/4 of a 5p in size so we decided to see if we could push the groups by shooting as many as we could at 27 yards while keeping the group size under a 5p which as you know is pretty small at 18 mm in diameter . The photos will show you the tail of my rifles accuracy and im sure Phil will upload his photos too from his rifle. After this we went outside to the 55 yard (50 meters) range and set out about 4 or 5 targets starting off at about a 10p size piece of round plastic to a bottle top then a milk bottle top and finally 2 pellet tin lids. Each target was hit time and time again with ease from both rifles proving the accuracy of these springers and as i said earlier today in another thread the quality of shot Phil is.. We ended up shooting the bottle tops side ways on at 55 yards as the targets were getting hit too easily face on . Even sideways on we were hitting them time and time again . We were 2 happy shooters with our rifles and wondered if things good get any better. Well it did as we also was given permission by the club chairman to shoot the rabbits as well that were digging up the car park and outdoor range . What a great night with a class shot and a good friend. ATVB Si. 7 Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
An awesome night Si, The accuracy of both rifles were outstanding. Even the PCP warriors were looking over listening to us waffle on about our rifles being so accurate. The bonus of the night was gaining the permission and hitting those bottle tops at silly ranges. The night was brilliant and the company even better. Well played mate your videos dont do your shooting enough justice mate as to see it first hand is truly awesome and inspiring. I hope to god any competitions we enter we are paired as I dont fancy going up against you haha! just a few pics of the ones ive uploaded so far, I'll get the bigger groups up soon. Nicely done Timmy you have done this rifle proud and made me one happy little shooter! bottle tops sideways on at 55 yards! Really? insane! Phil 6 Quote Link to post

Mawders 595
Cheers guys, it was a good night of relaxed shooting after my initial outburst and swearing at my scope being on the pish and having to keep undoing the mounts to line it up properly ha ha. What was impressive was a member of the range who said he's ranked 8th in the country at standing unsupported shooting and said the groups we produced he could also achieve at 25 yards. Having previously seen his target cards I don't doubt him for a second. Said he's trained day in day out for 6 years to get to that standard! Just shows what dedication and a passion for the sport can achieve! Phil Quote Link to post

Got to take your hat off to that type of skill. Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
For Zini, If you get another Prosport Si, give me a ring! Thanks Timmy that's very kind of you mate and one i will defo take you up on. I would defo get another AA Pro Sport in the future as they are by far the best springer out the box IMO. I think i would get another .22 Pro Sport though like my old one mate as i prefer .22 better for my type of hunting and shooting and stick a SR Pro scope on it. Quote Link to post
