Plummers In The North East?

Recommended Posts

After a new terrier to join my other dog and really like the look of the plummers. They seem to fit the bill for what I need, ratting, bushing, rabbiting etc. The only problem I am having is finding a good breeder, with good working lines around the North East or even further. Terriers are a fairly new thing for me, having only really got into them over the last 1/2 years and as a result don't really know who too avoid and who to too trust. I know there will be a few lads on here with plummers in particular and thought you might be able to point me in the right direction.

Cheers Stretch

Got to disagree with you there BBB,met more folk at some shows that work their plummers than those there just for a rosette.

If your after a working bred plummer the shows would be the last place to look.. loads of lads with there dog trying to win a £1 rosette, struggling to tie there own shoe laces

it might be worth getting yourself over to the yorkshire game fair this weekend.

i was fishing with a lad this weekend who's into his plummers and he reckons there should be a good turnout of the breed.

allways better to talk face to face with the breeders, to easy to talk a good game over the tinternet / phone, you'll save yourself a lot of wasted time in the long run.

good luck
