I've got a lurcher and terrier that won't go to ground so I rekon they'd get by together,they can both catch rabbits and I'm sure they'd have managed hare and the smaller deer pre-ban. What makes me ask is a mates boss has a littles springer bitch that pretty much lives wild all summer,they have loads of land and it disappears for 4-5 days at a time.
