England Vs Barbarians

Recommended Posts

That's nice. My mate owed me a favour and I assumed I might get a pint out of it, but he's just called to say he's got me a ticket for England vs Barbarians at Twickenham on Sunday 26th May. :boogy:

Just seen Parisse and Castrogiovanni have been named for the Barbarians. Hope they don't get too many top-drawer players.

Chronically underused these days IMO, think his appearances have been limited due to his versatility at international level..

That was a good day. Bit disappointed no minute's silence for Drummer Lee Rigby though.

Some bird sung Jerusalem before the National Anthem. - "I will not cease from mental fight, Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand." Probably not long till that's branded somehow offensive. Not a dry eye out of 60,601 pairs in the house that I could see.

Game was alrightish, but it did look like a professional team playing the local comprehensive.

Best bit was a streaker ran the entire length of the pitch, running towards stewards, then swerving away from them, ending up with a "Chris Ashton" raise of his finger and a swallow dive. I expect the Ba bas will try and recruit him for next year.

And I had lots of beer.
