dorsetchap.22 14
what are the powapell 14.3 grain like Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
A good alrounder Dome headed is the best bet. What gives you best results now will likely give you best results with the new spring. Tony Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 793
not necessarily in a spring rifle tony mate, my loved accupell before we detuned the power, since then its been a steady diet of air arms/jsb. if the new spring is gonna be running at a different power then its wise to do all the pellet testing again cos the results can be quite different. personally dorsetchap, i use the above but most hw's i've used seem to like either h&n ftt's or accupell /crossman premier/daystate li. i wouldnt entertain any kind of pellet other than dome headed ones for hunting as theyre generally the most accurate, all the stuff you read in the comics about high penetration, or extra kinetic impact is a load of bollocks if they dont go where you want them to in the first place. domeheads dish out plenty of wallop for whatever quarry youre planning on shooting, and go where you want them to in the first place... 5 Quote Link to post
fry 209
yeah what wurze says. Quote Link to post
dorsetchap.22 14
cheers wurze mine will be detuned so i might as well just wait till the new spring is in Quote Link to post
Marksman 934
As with what Wurz says.... Accuracy is the key to good hunting, a pellet can hit as hard as it likes but if it doesn't hit the right place it's useless Darryl Quote Link to post
dorsetchap.22 14
very true Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
In my rifles over my chrono FTT seem to be most 'efficient' but jsb group bit better not much in at at 35 yds tho. Quote Link to post
