Mawders 595 Posted May 11, 2013 Report Share Posted May 11, 2013 If it has the bull barrel mate its a mk3. Ie the barrel is the same size all the way to tip and doesn't have the silencer fitted on the outside. Hope that helps. Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701 Posted May 12, 2013 Report Share Posted May 12, 2013 put a 5.5mm (.22) pellet in it and see if it falls thorough the barrel.. if it does then its not a .22 its a .25 and if it doesnt go in easily its either a .177 or .20 :laugh: Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,589 Posted May 12, 2013 Report Share Posted May 12, 2013 Mk.III has a thicker diameter bull barrel as stated above. Mk.II and Mk.I had a standard width barrel. MkII has a similar stock design to earlier Mk III and MkI had a stepped forend on the stock undersurface. Simon Quote Link to post

sparkycrew 22 Posted May 12, 2013 Report Share Posted May 12, 2013 HI mate,find the 6 digit serial no on the barrel,email Airarms from the home page, they will tell everything about the rifle,build date,model etc,opposite the the serial no on the barrel should be the calibre in mm and inches eg .177 4.50mm or .22 5.50mm nice rifle mate,i have the AirArms prosport and it's amazing regards nick Quote Link to post

And Barrywhite, I dont know much about airifles, thats why Im asking, afterall this is a place to learn and to find out about things isnt it. Seems you know it all from your Cocky comments.
