I have been doing this for the past couple of week's now..it started of with just Chickweed and Broccoli and now the Dandilions have sprouted it's finch heaven.. biggrin.png ..the tray's are them little take away container's with 1 inch of water in the bottom to stop everything from drying out and everything in the aviary goes mental for it as soon as i put them in.. biggrin.png

Not found any dandilions with seeds this way yet,if you pinch off the tops of the buds before they open it takes away all the fluff that will cover the corners and wire of your flights.Cracking little salad bar that mate and the birds will love you for it, :victory:

They is load's by me Joel..too many infact they seem to be everywhere around the set aside field's and grass verge's along the motorway's and A@B road's.. i'm of out again now with the dog to go pick a load more.. :thumbs: ..i'm in the north east area near middlesbrough...so i'm sure any further south should have load's more if you find the right spot.. :victory:

Round here the only place their growing is on the verges of busy roads which I wouldn't feed anyway and halfway down a near vertical ditch bank at work with stagnant horrible water at the bottom which I am picking for them :(
