welshwhippet22 23
Dog appears to have something stuck to the roof of his mouth. Looks a Bit like a feather but not 100%. Have tried to remove it but can't keep his mouth open for long enough. Doesn't seem to bother him but will it require a trip to the vets or do things like this usually work their way out by themselves? Thanks in advance for any advice Quote Link to post

skycat 6,174
Get someone to hold dog's mouth open, use a small torch to see what it is: get a pair of pliers to remove object, so long as it isn't embedded in the dog's flesh, in which case vet trip, though I'd have thought something actually piercing the flesh would be bothering it a lot more than you say it is. welshwhippet22 23
Well had one last shot at it this morning as in the end last night the dog wouldn't open his mouth. Anyway had a big pair of plastic tweezers and managed to get hold of the object and it came out first time. Still looks like the quail of a feather and it had actually pearced the roof of the mouth bit all good now. Thanks for all your replies Quote Link to post
