If all else fails with Dogs trust etc etc...Let me know.. I know an old couple who might want to adopt a Lurcher. . .It could be the happy ending.

well done mate done a simillar thing with a black bitch i took in was very thin and not in any condition what so ever got her a pet home after she was back to healthy state no where near as bad as this one you have brought in tho i hope you left the lads who had this dog chocking on there own blood,

fair play pal ,........i would of taken it straight to vet and made sure it was disease free .........before it came to my place ........

could have anything .....highly infectious.....

depending on what the out come was on professional advice ,....she may be better off put to sleep ,......

you done a decent thing but as said you could have a alot of on going problems and if people are chipping in to help the dog and the money can be genuinely vouched for i would be willing to chip in........

its hard to believe that any body could do this to any living thing...........cruelty at the highest level......

in fact ignore the top bit of my post i would of taken it in the same as you and kept it in isolation until it was looked at for any disease.....its so easy to post in words on here what you would of done ......because we werent in that situation but any decent fella like your self would of done the same....actions speak a million words ,.........all the best

your to be comended on what you have done for the dog . the folk that have let it get into that state waqnt a good thrashing!!!. but i do wonder perhaps it may have been as kind to pts the dog . ..but anyway i do hope things turn out for the best .

Thanks mate yep I had it half and hours then went to the vet had it checked over and brought it back I could have left it with him but he said if he coulnldnt find anywhere he'd give it to the police and obviously it would be dead within 24 hour and no way was I letting the dog go anywhere until I knew it was safe and well

Cheers mate yep the thought entered my mind about pts but something about the dog just told me not to give up on her, she seems to have took to me , she trust me and I've only had her a day
