darbo 4,779
Cracking fight between crolla and mathews . had crolla shading it but it was a draw. very close fight. the bellew fight was a draw had bellew winning that. he can box much better threw too many wild punches which didnt connect not much thought in his work. he has the potential to fight much better than he did tonight. gnasher16 31,602
I thought Matthews/Crolla showed each other too much respect the fight didnt get going till about the 9th round.....thought Crolla deserved the nod though. I dont see what Bellew had to moan about he won the first half of the fight and lost the second just because your at home dont mean you deserve the win......i think he needs to spend a little less time with all the childish staring and sillyness.....top level fighters are not going to be intimidated by a man looking at them, especially one that looks like nookie bear he just embarasses himself.

gonetoearth 5,144
derry fought a great fight tierd towards the end crolla came on strong but you could not knock these two for guts the out come was a shame i thought derry just nicked it but a draw was fair , bellew came up against an opponate who tested him his uncomprimising stlye had bellew frustrasted he was never in danger but could not pin his man down the corner has changened with mick mc back and some yank all shouting at once , bellew needs to cut out all this madness waliking back the corner stuff another ref might have deducted a point for a blatent head butt , take nothing from his opponant he came with a plan and stuck to it , back to the drawring board and go back to boxing and think

I wouldnt mind betting Crolla is feeling a bit gutted today in a 12 round fight you never want to end with something left in the tank and he looked like he had plenty more like you say if he,d upped the pace earlier.....
