Guest Leveller
Just a quick question, do any of you guys out there wake up to find your hands numb?, or if you been driving a while the wheel hand goes numb??. I always used to think if i'd been on the saw for a spell it was that vibration white finger malarkey, but i googled it and its suprising how common it is apparently, although i never heard of it before. One suggestion was Carpo tunnel syndrome, only tunnels i ever been through was down by Newport lol. Any thoughts or experiences from fellow members ??? Serious replies only please ?? B If your sleep is getting interrupted try wearing wrist splints to bed it will prevent or at least minimise the pins and needles and may even rid the problem after a month or so of wearing them. hutch6 550
I will always remember falling asleep in the lounge on the sofa with one of my arms behind my head ("draw me like one of your french girls - style) and I must have remianed in that position for quite sometime. Anyway, I came to and woke up very quickly when i couldn't feel my arms at all, thought I lost the bloody thing in my sleep. I reached above my head with my good arm and was immediately repulsed to be touching cold flesh that was my arm. I sat bolt upright in horror at the feeling and was even more repulsed when my other arm fell against me like some slab of dead meat flapping about. I couldn't move it nor feel it so it was just swinging by my side neither use nor ornament. It took about 20mins to get feeling back into it and the pins and needls as the blood made its way back into it was horrendous.
