Attack Fell Terrier 864
Fury imo would have taken thompson easily So do I but then I think Price would beat him easily if hey fought again as well! Thompson is no indication as to whether someone is going to be a world champ, his better years are behind him (but even then he never really was true world class IMO). Steve Cunningham is a world class operator and before anything is said about winning world titles, Fury has to beat Cunningham first! He pushed Adamek who is decent to a close split decision in his last fight, and has a lot of experience, so lets see Fury win this fight first, which I think he will but he has to be on point and box well. Best of luck to him.
Floyd17586 454
Well said mate.but fury imo is a superier boxer than price.hes a better style of boxing uses his head more .has better work rate and recovery as he has proven.by being knocked by bigger shots than that and recovering to win the fight to me thats the heart of the next world heavy weight champ jmo. The punches that Fury got knocked down with, were really in all truth against sub standard opponents, even compared to Thompson. Tyson should never of been caught with those punches in the first place, being caught squared up with his hands down. The fact he got knocked down by those men is a bigger worry than him getting up is a good thing if you ask me. Getting put down down and getting up against them is no indication of Tyson becoming the next best thing IMO. But in saying that Tyson has improved a hell of a lot since then. His skills have developed, he looks to me like he's taking his training more seriously by the looks of his physique, and he's now boxing to and stcking to a game plan and is looking all round a more professional fighter. It's his development as a boxer that is more of an indication to how seriously the rest of the heavyweight division needs to take him. Any man at heavyweight can be taken out though, so although having a strong beard is a blessing it doesn't mean the same as it does in other weights because every heavyweight is potentially only one punch away from disaster!
lanesra 4,007
I know Nothing About Boxing , but theres a likeableness About Fury and i hope he does well , in fact the next Terrier I get will be called "Fury" . . Attack Fell Terrier 864
Furys a joke all handy fights why hasn't he mixed in decent company yet.and he's talking aboutwold title shots fs. He's had 20 fights and is in his early 20's and he's already beat two fighters who have fought for the world title and has won the British title (vacated). He's now set to fight another contender and a former world champion in America, what else can you ask of a man of his age?

Where have I contradicted myself pal, what are you talking about mate? Half of what you've said about Fury I have also said, so point out the contradictions? It seems a little silly of you to say both the Klitschkos have had no one get at them, Vlads been knocked on his arse around 12 times and Vitali has stood with Lennox and although Lennox was past it, Vital had half his face wrecked and in a proper punch for punch brawl. So they both have had people get at them. You also said no one knew of Thompson? well I did! I had watched him for years and although he had the odd half decent win on his record and two fights against Vlad I've never been very impressed with him and I was never taken in by any hype about him before the Price fight. If I'm remembering properly I think I recall someone saying that you are a relation of Fury's? I think you're taking constructive criticism too heart mate. I do like Fury, he has come on leaps and bounds over the course of his last few fights and you're right his uncle has done a good job with him so far. I wish the fella all the best in his career.
