Craig Fosse 286
Mine I just pulled off mate, ur options are put it in a vice but pad the vice then slowly turned, if its still stuck on heat it, just be careful but it does come off quite easily Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,936
If it`s like other SMK`s then the best way to do it is this. Measure the halfway mark on the rifle (usually 3" in front of the trigger. Then mark it, and run a stihl saw down the mark. Everything to the left of the cut goes in the bin, then throw away everything right of the cut, and keep the bit in the middle as this is the only usefull part of the gun. Hope this helps ATB Quote Link to post

Craig Fosse 286
If u want more info on the smk u have type I. Chineseairgunforum in google, there's a website forum dedicated to them, unfortunately here the only two things that have come up about this rifle, the same person has given no relative information on them, so if u need help mate go there. I had one for a whole because I didn't have the money for anything else... It did well for learning but I have moved on Quote Link to post

Rake aboot 4,936
Don`t take offence It`s well known on here that I hate them with a passion. I find them nasty, badly made peices of Chinese crap. Which upsets some folk apparentley. Still, never mind. The money spent buying one of these piles of crap would be better spent on a decent second hand well made gun, like an older BSA or older Webley. And I notice that all the people who defend them bleat on about how good they can be with loads of work to sort them out, decent guns don`t need sorting out, they are good from the begining. Craig Fosse 286
I totally respect what you are saying, unfortunately I got mine after a tour to Afganistan and asked the gunshop for suggestions, clearly now I realise after more research the owner was only after my money, which I am gutted for. I have learned from my mistake, however although a bad rifle it still taught me the art to firing a springer, and I still managed to shoot my first rabbit and pigeon with it. I wised up pretty quick and went into my s200 and took the leap, and the credit leap and won't ever go back. 2 Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Actually the XS19 is not too bad, the worst thing about it is the damned trigger, your mate would be better served getting a WWT2 trigger for it... Quote Link to post

Bingo ! this is exactley what I hate to hear about, specially when it`s some young lad just getting into the game,, they cost about £10 each to trade, so they are a fast easy profit, plus being a pile of shite that will put folk off Quote Link to post
Craig Fosse 286
Yer I totally agree mate, but in one way it's taught me to research properly before hand etc etc, and join a gun club, now I have been shooting for just under two years and I'm better off for it I think 1 Quote Link to post
