mark@mbb 31
It would work but you will end up with it smelling after a while cant you run it a little further away and put 5 gallon tub as a sump to collect any straw and silt that way the soakaway will work a lot longer Edited January 10, 2013 by mark@mbb

mattydski 560
the only other point you may wish to consider, is to line the trench, kind of bagging the infill, with terram/geotextile membrane stops it getting lost in to the soil...keeps it clean as well. Born Hunter 17,910
Got to agree with reddawn pipe up to main drain if you can Unfortunately some people don't have that option, I know I don't. I favour letting them out fairly regular and they don't shit in the runs then.
whippet 99 2,613
PUT AN INTERCEPTOR IN THE PIPE LINE TO THE SOAK AWAY ....................DONT PUT SOLIDS DOWN THERE YOU WILL BE FINE................... I WOULD MAKE SURE YOU GO DEEP WITH YOUR SOAK AWAY ,........DEEPER THE BETTER ,..................INTERCEPTOR WILL STOP THE SMELLS COMING BACK UP THE LINE .....................FILL THE BOTTOM OF THE SOAK AWAY WITH CLEAN STONE CHUCK SLABS , PIPE ANY THING LIKE THAT IN THEN MAKE SURE YOUR PIPE COMES IN ABOUT 3/4 OF THE DEPTH OF THE HOLE THE BIGGER THE HOLE AND MORE MATERIALS IN IT ...............................WILL HOLD MORE CAPACITY OF WATER AND SOAK AWAY BETTER............... MAINS IS BETTER NO DOUBT WASH SHITE AND ALL DOWN THERE WITH NO WORRY ,.....................BUT A SOAK AWAY WILL WORK BUT LIKE I SAID GET RID OF THE SOLIDS
