The Lawmate PV1000 DVR Sportsman Review And Field Test

Recommended Posts

Hi lads,

Here is a review that I have been doing showing you our (VerminHuntersTV) new video recording unit that myself and Davy have just clubbed in together and purchased for our channel filming.

Its the new model Lawmate PV1000 Portable Digital Video Recorder.

This is a full HD recording unit that we will be using for filming our night vision footage with from now on.

The review is split up into 2 parts as it is pretty long in length, but this is down to me wanting to show you its full potential and quality as a field recording unit from a air rifles hunters perspective.

If your not interested in hearing about the ins and outs of the unit but just want to see its results when recording then please watch part 2 only and skip to 17 minutes 21 seconds.

Si and Davy.

Very nice bit of kit but it should be for £ 500. Cant wait to see some shooting footage .

I don't know whether you could do a side by side recording review with the lawman and angel eye so we could see the difference between the two when shooting ?

I'm the same as "tribeboy" in as much as i watch everyone of your videos, because as i have already told you f2f i find them informative and also by showing me what can be achieved with an air-rifle makes me try harder to be accurate as possible.

So a huge cheer goes to the two of you and Si i know why you are doing these video's without Davy, because its impossible to shut him up for recording of these videos lol (sorry Davy my friend).

p.s. A personal thankyou goes out to Si and Davy both of you are true true friends, although it has only been a little over a year that i have known you both. But although it is only a short while, i class you both better and closer friends than anybody else. TRUE FRIENDS AND TRUE GENTLEMEN.

That DVR's a nice bit of kit Si, what would be really good is if you could use it to show the quality of some of the home made digital NV gear the guys have been making for around £100. As you and many others have said the quality you see on a video clip uploaded is nothing compared to what the shooter see's on his screen.

This lawmate would show how well these cheap alternative little home made units perform up to and beyond sub 12flb ranges.

I bet you'll have plenty of offers from guys who've made an NV unit willing to help out.

If someone who has made their own unit that is not impeding on the Nite Site patent or anyone elses patent wanted us to test it. Im sure we could do that on a episode of the show.

It's not patent infringement if your making it for your own use and not looking to make a commercial venture out of your build.

Well if that the case then yes mate as long as our sponsors would be happy with that.

Where is your post leading anyway? Have you your own unit that you have built and are wanting it tested in high definition?

Si.

I dont have my own unit Si, i thought it would of been a good idea as it would show how good some of these little units are. If NiteSite are your sponsor then im fairly sure they wont let you showcase cheaper alternatives.
