Just a wee tip if you don't no before you go to bed stock up your fire and but the ash that's underneath on top close it all down and it'll still be on on the mornin a wee rake and some kindlin and bobs your uncle )

I just use wood 90% of the time, then at night fill with coal and shut down the air vents, then just rack over in the morning and chuck more wood on.

Theres a guy dropped 4 skips off at the golf course and they filled them with cut logs for him ,but they where scots pines i thought they would burn but spark like feck ?.

it does but if ye have a stove nae need to worry aboot sparks just shut the doors , the other half likes the doors open on ours some of the time does ma tree in , but thats been banned now fking stick rolled oot he tried to burn the house down fire side rug is fecked now. lucky the hairy terrier was no in front it would have went up in flames

Ive an old tatty stanley range... I just throw the shite turf in at end of night... Mixed with a bit of wood it keeps it ticking over nicely
