j j m 6,626
It is over rated as you say great for the kids but when you sit back afterwards when it's all over I sometimes think all of that for one day,and so many people home less,on the streets of Newcastle the vans were out in full force with the salavation army and volunteers giving there Xmas up to help the ones less fortunate I take my hat off to them all
Nik_B 3,791
Yep those people are noble to say the least. I think it is important to have celebrations whether it be the birth of Christ, a winter celebration or what ever and it is also very important to teach the young ones the importance of family and a time of year to think of others before yourself...something you lad seems to have got 100% You are quite right to be proud mate
j j m 6,626
Thanks mate,I must admit I felt a bit guilty knowing he was out there and helping others and gave his Xmas day up while I was sitting in comfort,it's something I'm thinking of doing next year some of the places they found people sleeping was bad a blanket and a hot drink and a promise of a hot dinner the following day,but what happens to these people the rest of the year it makes you wonder
