and just goes to show what we were talking about,accurate weight and data will produce the tighter groups

 

i also was amazed,by the different weights in my other post,so once all your H&NFTT are used up you will have to re-zero and weigh them all again,as i found i couldn't get one out of 20 that was 15. grain from another tin,it varied from 14.7 14.9 15.2 so you will have to put all the data in again just like i have to get your correct POA.

i shall weigh and keep range cards for the two majority weights and keep the others for plinking

 

also please stick to 5 shots in total

 

we also talk about that a lot to

 

proof is in the pudding

 

I do try partner . I'm just pretty crap at grouping more than 4 shots . More shooting practice will help sort that problem.

Well, I washed the h&n ftt .177 an that was it, shot a group sitting an resting on knee at 35 yrds, smaller than a 5p , il post pic later if needed. Before I washed them I couldn't get them to group tidy?? But then don't look a dirty pellet. Lol

Ive just washed and lubed my .22 bisley mags and H&N FTT gonna try em next week sometime see if they make the diff i lubed em with wd40. Just need to buy a set of small scales to weigh em out

while your heading down that route, you'll want a box like this thing, theres a few about..very handy for skirt checking and batching.

the scales...1000'th of gram will 'do' but a thou of a grain would be more presise, and, dont forget a calibrating weight. when you get it nip in a chemist and ask if they'll check it for you, its for gem weighing wink wink lol.
