what to do about washing the camo jacket?

daz? nooooooo any wash pouder? noooooo it dazles them up with some kind of whitener, which, if havent notised sort of kills your sucess rate. I noticed a few years back when the missis washed the jacket for me, because it was dirty and old and smelly lol!!! arghhhhhhh zero pigions for weeks.

later i read a few articles about how pigions see through tree's at stuff like daz in your cloathing.

so i sat pondering,, yeh it needed a wash, hmmm..

ffff shower gel!! lmao you should have seen the colour of the water lol!!

a hint though, too much froths out the washer, but hey...good a time as any to wash the floor and your feet at the same time? hehehehe...joke!!

does any one know of a way to kill the whitener effect?

Don't use a detergent with a whitener agent on cammo Ghillies???

When you wash your cammo though, it's an idea to leave it outside (not in bad weather mind!) and let fresh air and the smells of nature remove all those lovely-smelling fabreeze aromas from the fabric.

What is lovely and sweet-smelling to us, is like the stink of Hell to our quarry!

just give it a wash in the machine with old fashioned soda crystals, that'll do it. if it smells too nice after washing then give it a bit of a waft over some smoke from a little fire, woodsmokes a great scent blocker.

cheers, wurz
