Lucky meeting

Had a trip out yesterday with a lad I met while out walking the dog a couple of weeks ago bumped into him again on Friday afternoon and he asked if I would like a trip out as he had been asked to sort some rabbits out at a private house garden. Met him yesterday morn and we set off for outskirts of Alnwick arrived at the house about 10 am as the owner had told him not to turn up to early as he wanted a lie in the guy came out and met us and told us just to wander we're ever we wanted as long as we got rid of the bloody rabbits the garden was massive bordered by fields .

There was a lot of small sets all along the hedges and into the fields which he owned as well really easy ferreting first set 3 holer netted up slipped one of this years kitts in a sandy hob he quickly bolted 2 rabbits this continued till about 3pm when we called it a day total haul 23 bunnies called at the house on the way out to show owner the catch and he was over the moon.a great day off a chance meeting only bad thing was i wasn't allowed to take the lurcher ( meg) she was well pxxxxd off when I packed up the ferrets and gear and left her.sorry no photos as the battery's on the camera were flat when I got it out.

Nice one mate well done we often get asked to do big gardens sometimes they can be productive sometimes they have 1 rabbit coming in from elsewhere and think they have a problem but big gardens can lead to more permissions

Weren't all from the garden mate some were from the fields around the garden he ownes these and keeps horses in them.
