Kent_keith 46
Thank you, Summer seems better than winter for rabbits, I may be corrected here though? I agree better out then in. I'd love to have a dog, but I'm out all day so it wouldn't be fair I'm afraid. I'm yet to find any roosting anything on my permission, wish I had I could stock up the freezer for Christmas. I'm using a NS 50 it's not bad NV for the money, can be scoop fussy though. On the way back home I was lamping a few golf courses and watching the bunnies run, anyone have any tips on gaining golf courses permissions as I'm surrounded by them. Keith Quote Link to post

Kent_keith 46
Thanks mate, rabbit went straight down, gave one stretch and stayed there, gutted in the field, skinned this morning before everyone was up, soaking in a little salt and white wine vinegar in the fridge, just got to decide how to cook it, fancy something old out of a Victorian cookbook lol Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
i got a golf course, omeone on here asked me i how find them, becuase he finds them hard...well mines exactly the same. yet to take anything in three trips. loads there just cant get at them lol within about yards. iv tried everything. anyway. i asked and the receptionist was quite arsey. so i rung the day after to speak to a chairman. he had no problems. but the other five iv asked , was a no go. down to pest control companies. atb though Quote Link to post
Kent_keith 46
That's interesting Robwelsh, I thought I'd have a word with the head green keeper first, but maybe going to the top might pay dividends, thanks Quote Link to post

Keith Go in see the greenkeeper and ask! We did and got one of our local courses and best of all we can drive it in the Vitara!! Shoot with both a 22RF and 17HMR had loads to start with now thinned em out so we are seeing less and less. Edited December 4, 2012 by masmiffy Quote Link to post
Kent_keith 46
Thanks JJM, to be truthful it was a little low and to the right, I was zeroed at 45 yards and I paced it out to be 35 yards so maybe a mil-dot hold under would have helped but extremely hard to judge in the dark, but I was more than happy with the shot and as I said earlier it went straight down. Kent_keith 46
Hi Masmiffy. Good advice, I was kind of hoping that if (when) (be positive) they would allow me the use of a buggy for the evening, nice and quiet and the bunnies are used to hearing them so will stand, can't wait lol.
