collar battery storage

How does people store the battery when they aren't in the collar? I use the mk3 collar so need to take them out when its not in use, i used to keep them in the little bit of plastic they come in, in a film case to keep them separate now they just fall out and touch together.

 

Does it matter if they touch together? will they discharge?

There are lots of things you can use, small plastic cases, tic-tac boxes, tablet containers......they generally don't touch or discharge so its just a case of finding something small to keep them safe....

If you just loosen the strap a little you can slide the battery cover over just enough to break the contact and not have to remove the battery's

Keep them in a sealer bag and they all touch, they still last months!
