theres been young rabbits about all year for the last few years around here mate.

Thats the first ive came across it has been mild up here all the same are you down south ?every ones saying theres a shortage you would think they would be more if there breeding all year

I'd say that they're more likely late young rather than early young, but rabbits will breed all year as long as the conditions are favourable..

same as hares if the weather right they will breed all year just with the weather being mild its the first ive came across for this time of year in all the years ive been hunting

im in the midlands mate, we also have a high population of buzzrds, mink and other predators as per most things in nature theres always something to ballance things out. but mitsy turns things on its head at times.
