Rogue and running dog 26
Do any of you guys use night vision binoculars when out? Been interested for a while less obvious to people than a lamp could be quite handy? What do you use and what's your experiences? Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,217
Been out with lads who use it, very handy at times. Quote Link to post
Rogue and running dog 26
I know but some of the monoculars aren't so big could fit in a pocket I know the jacket I wear for lamping it would easily pop in a pocket without many problems! Seriously thinking about getting one! It's very on top nr me And although I'm on my permission I've been pulled 3 times in one night before now and although nothing came of it it wastes time I could be lamping! And most of the times it's the lamp they've seen, So goggles could just limit the amount of time lamps n limiting the chance of getting hassled Quote Link to post

Rogue and running dog 26
I'd be willing to spend reasonable money to avoid the hassle! Like I said I'm on permission but still get pulled just for "checks" Quote Link to post

pip1968 2,490
heard someone talking about night vision the other day and they were spending £1200 on a set Quote Link to post
Tyla 3,179
I've used one quite alot. Pulsar digital scope of my mates rifle. its no good single handed but with one spotting with the scope and the other running the dog its pretty good. Getting the communication right is vital but once you've got it sussed it works a treat. It means the lamps only on for the actual run, no scanning the field so more subtle. Quote Link to post
Tyla 3,179
Not cheap though, his set up was a grand. Quote Link to post
