monkey has just got darcys new book

 

 

 

god its good....great pictures ,the coursing ones are superb..loads and loads of old photos of all the great bloodlines.

 

 

not being a great one for pedigrees and bloodlines i thought it would be a bit boring but not at all, in fact it fasinated me and really got me thinking

 

the saluki is an old breed but in england its only the last 30 years that its come into its own..

 

what an influence this old breed has had on the match scene and its all explained in a series of interviews with some of the coursing greats.

 

its a book that will be read and then picked up time and time again..i,ve never been involved in the match scene and never realised how much went into this canine athletes and most of all how much effort went into the bloodlines..

 

its a big book packed with photos old and new,fantastic articles, famous names,pics of all the great match dogs

 

its a winner

of dogs and deer i read it the other day and it is the dogs bollox all species of deer are in there and his personal experiences on hunting them. Superb photos and some great stories best read i have ever had
