Gaz_1989 9,539
Going to look at some new permission today. Only 5 acres of horse paddocks and stables but supposedly over run with rabbits. It's my new next door neighbours and as soon a she saw that I had working dogs she was asking me if I could take them off. Fingers crossed its as riddled as they say Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Yeh that's my worry mate. Got permission on a golf course earlier in the year that was "alive" with them. I've seen 6 all year lol. Quote Link to post
PIL 7
Fair play gd ! You say only 5 acres but mine's slightly bigger and it has given me some good bags for the last six months . Everyone is different but what I did in the beginning was to take group pictures of your bags for the owners to see . It's a much better impression to see a dozen bunnies hocked up than just to say to them "oh I managed to get a dozen bunnies" , pictures and words and all that. Regards Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Thanks mate. Sounds like good advice that. The couple who own the land have been in the horse game for decades so I'm hoping it could lead to other permissions Quote Link to post
weasle 1,119
Once you can bump in to farmers and tell them you are doing some ferreting for mr what rabbits,It puts you in a strong chance of getting more and finding were the few rabbits are spilling over from. Quote Link to post
