You see a £97 shirt but don't have any cash, so you borrow £50 off your mother and £50 off your father = £100. You buy the shirt and have £3 change, so you give your mother £1 and your father £1 and keep the other £1 for yourself, you now owe your mother £49 and your father £49 ,, £49 + £49 = £98 and the £1 i'n your pocket makes £99 SO WHERE IS THE MISSING £1.
