get your sen up to north of sweden mate...you wont regret it....... :thumbs:

What sort of price is travel, accomodation etc? :thumbs:

if you book flights on ryanair in a months or so advance mate you can get from london to stockholm and back for £15 per person!!! all the swedes told me abisko park is the best place to watch them, right up the top....... :thumbs:

Flights may be cheap but it costs nearly £800 to stay in that abisco national park. :icon_eek:

not in a tent mate lol theres no trespass laws in sweden........ ;)

In a fookin tent....a fookin tent, i'm taking my other half she'd go bonkers sleeping in a tent in the snow. :D

go alone and enjoy the swedish women while you there....... :D plus theres no snow in august time and you can see them then.......... :thumbs:

My wet dream trip would be to Norway. I want to see the fjords on a cruise. Seen it on tv years ago and thought I need to go there one day.

dont know tbh lol, landed at kittila airport on a runway that most british drivers wouldnt take a 4x4 accross, sheet snow with a big agricultural building next to it and a couple of buses back and for, how they found the airport is beyond me never mind f****n land the crate there lol. We did go on a couple of trips to see some lappish family who were reindeer farming etc, all dressed in costume etc etc, kids went to santa land (that was an eye opener) stood inside the arctic circle, but other than the snowmobile trip through the wilderness, no i didnt really, the place we stayed at was called Levi.

 

You have obviously spent time out that way mate ??

not that far up mate lol did 9 months in stockholm, came home in may, but met loads of finish people and they are great crack, remind me of the irish.... :laugh: went on a booze cruise to helsinki but cant remember much of that lol and got a few invites to go over hunting in the north that unfortunately never had chance to take up, but one day hope to!!! if Scandinavia wasnt so expensive to live in it would be perfect!!!!..... :thumbs:

Think they are hit and miss in Scotland, the wife lived up in Aberdeen for the first 25 years of her life and never saw them.. They only showed a few weeks back because we are at the peak of the current solar cycle, its a 12 year cycle I think.. :hmm: Always wanted to see the lights myself, would love to go on a winter cruise up the fjords in Norway.. :thumbs:
