go on then ladies and gent what the best way to make sure you scoff the lot not into anything strong so i dont want to jug it ,

is it slow cook fast cook ?

look forward to hearingh from you , as i have a big bugger i just shot wanting to make me fatter ha ha

a few carrots, onion, garlic, salt and pepper, cut meat from the bone and place into a casserole dish, add 1.5pt of water and 2 oxo cubes, bang it in the oven at 150 for 3 1/2 - 4hrs. this is how i always make mine and the family love it.

Matt, cut the nice chunky loins off and fry like a bit of steak! Don't over do it. Slice them up diagonally (that's the posh way, lol) then serve up with ya best mash and veg........ Ah feck me, I need to kill a hare now! Don't seem to be many about at all this year.

 

I have always slow cooked the rest of the hare but not a patch on the loins fryed medium rare.
