LoL Your Dreaming pal

The North East Derby is the most Passionate in the World

That Includes Rangers and Celtic.

I remember a FA Cup Final years ago Liverpool v Everton and there was loads of opposition Fans mixed in around the ground cuddleing lol

Not in a month of Sundays would you ever get that with Sunderland v Newcastle.

well that proves my point doesent it really familys go to the derby games together you still get the odd fight have seen family fighting over football my wife and eldest lad both support liverpool but thats there problem :D my other lads are blues  the games moved on since the 70s 80s it might take another 20years until you work it out :tongue2: i take my lads the games and a burger on the way home maybe i should get them a stanley knife each for christmas you dont have to fight at the game to be passionate mate  john Edited by bullterrier

LIverpool/Everton a derby, they like each other !!.....very odd if you ask me..........

Im biased but a proper rivalry gets spoiled when you play each other twice a year every year..... last year should of been a terrible season for a West Ham fan but the beauty in dropping down a league was we got to play Millwall !...........I always thought ours was one of the most nastiest and unforgiving rivalries in football...................until i was in Turkey some years ago and went to a Fenerbache/Galatasary game :icon_eek:

Celtic/Rangers....Man U/LIverpool are big rivalries but then they have huge numbers.........the nastiest rivalries off the pitch ive seen were clubs with smaller followings......Wolves/West Brom is as serious as ive seen......right down to little clubs im told Chesterfield/Mansfield is a mad ol day........Different rivalries for different reasons the Arsenal/Spurs rivalry is massive on the pitch but Spurs rivals off the pitch are Chelsea and West Ham....look at all the hooligan films they are all the traditional old West Ham/Millwall/Chelsea feuds im not aware theres one film been made about Man U or Liverpool....................maybe thats how it works....because we,ve never had much success on the pitch we had to get some off of it :D ................for noise and atmosphere the bigger clubs/grounds...............for sheer intensity and hatred the smaller.
