my anti virus programme runs out in a day or 2 and i just wondered if anyone could help me. Ive bought a new anti virus programme and want to know how i install it. do i have to uninstall the old one and if i do how do i do it? and how do i set up the new programme. hope someone can help because i dont have a clue :laugh: . cheers :thumbs:

If its the same make just install the new one and it will auto install the old one.

 

If its not, then go to start, control panel, uninstal programmes, and click on your old anti virus. When it has done that, install the new one.

its not the exact same, but its from the same company so should i just uninstall it anyway?

Should have saved yourself some money, and downloaded, Microsoft security essentials, FREE

 

i could still take it back as i haven't opened it and ive still got the receipt.

 

Take if back mate, there is no need to pay for anti virus, i run 2 comps, with free versions on each, uninstall the one you have, and download and install the one i have suggested, simples, dead easy
